Why you should schedule your daily time for prayer

This might seem obvious, but living in a fast-paced society, we can often miss our daily time for prayer. We may want to pray on a regular basis, but this desire will never be actualized until an intentional decision is made.

Above all we need to make prayer a priority in our lives, carving out specific moments during the day to pray. If we are not intentional about prayer, we will go about our daily lives as usual and only remember prayer at the end of a long day.

One way to do this is to take advantage of the notification system on the Click To Pray app. Through the app, you are able to schedule times during the day to be notified. In this way, the app can hold us accountable and give us that gentle reminder we need.

However, our heart has to be in it as well. We may receive a notification and quickly dismiss it, claiming that we don’t have the time at the moment. If we do that too often, we will get into an ugly habit of constantly dismissing our times of prayer.

As we examine our daily lives of prayer, let us seek to be intentional and schedule prayer, making it a top priority in our lives.
