Celebrating the Consecration
Celebrating the Consecration of the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
On June 11th, 2026 the bishops of the United States consecrated the U.S. to the Sacred Heart of Jesus as part of the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the birth of the nation. As the U.S. national office of the Pope’s Prayer Network, we offer resources on this page to help live out this historic consecration in our own lives.
Our national consecration brings blessing and hope to a country suffering from an epidemic of loneliness. What is consecration, and how can it bless our nation?
Check back for additional offerings on how to live out devotion to the heart of Jesus.
The Sacred Heart
“Everything that God wanted to tell us about himself and about his love, he placed in the Heart of Jesus.” -Pope St. John Paul II (June 6, 1999)
The Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network (Apostleship of Prayer) has a long tradition of devotion to the Heart of Jesus. It is a devotion that is intimately linked to our mission and symbolizes the love Jesus has for the world.
The Depth Of God’s Love
Draw close to the Heart of Jesus. Like the Beloved Disciple did at the Last Supper, rest your head against the Lord’s chest and let him love you.
