Day 1 – Novena to St. Thérèse of Lisieux (2021)

Sep 23, 2021 | Blog Articles

On account of her missionary heart, St. Thérèse of Lisieux was declared a co-patron of the Apostleship of Prayer (Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network).

Leading up to her feast day on October 1, we will pray a Novena to St. Thérèse, posting brief reflections and prayers.

Please join us in this novena, posted each day on the website and social media, praying for Pope Francis, the Church and for all the challenges facing humanity.

Reflection

Loving God, you blessed St. Therese with a capacity for a great love. Help me to believe in your unconditional love for each of your children, especially for me.

I love you, Lord. Help me to love you more!

Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.

Amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

“Jesus, help me to simplify my life by learning what you want me to be and becoming that person”

Novena Prayer

O Little Therese of the Child Jesus Please pick for me a rose from the heavenly garden and send it to me as a message of love. O Little Flower of Jesus, ask God to grant the favors I now place with confidence in your hands (mention your special prayer request here).St. Therese, help me to always believe as you did, in God’s great love for me, so that I may imitate your “Little Way” each day. Amen.
